Organized by the Romanian Film Development Association (ADFR), The Script Contest is a short film screenwriting residency, born from the need of young directors and short screenwriters in Romania to have more cultural programs and / or educational projects and professional development, oriented towards the creative process. Launched in 2016 in the form of a screenplay contest, The Script Contest becomes in 2019 the only short film screenwriting residency nationwide. During the residency, the authors of the finalist scripts will enjoy a balanced daily program, which will include writing and feedback sessions, in order to improve their scripts before presenting them to the jury in the final stage.
